Teach Like Woodstock

This week I spent two days sharing and learning at the We R Richmond E-Learning Expo. It was a great day of sharing and learning at Richmond High School (The high school Wilbur Wright attended) in Richmond, Indiana. The Tech Team at Richmond had things organized and ready to go. This was the first conference that Renae (my wife) accompanied me.
The keynote was Mr. Adam Welcome sharing about how teaching is changed over the years and how we must be changing too to reach kids. "You cannot teach wifi kids with landline strategies." --- Adam Welcome I presented my newest presentation Teach Like Woodstock on Tuesday. On the Wednesday, I presented Creating a Digital Playground. As always, it's good to share, but equally good to learn from the teachers who gather and attend my sessions. We went to several sessions, ran through a local park and hung out with other teachers from Richmond and several area school districts. I also had the opportunity to meet Jeff Gargas and Chad Ostrowski. The conference utilized Sched.com to organize the sessions, speakers and presentations. Check out the Sched!
